We have achieved great things in our history and our executive team have been involved in the development and delivery of quality investment returns for clients all over the world.
As part of our vision to be the overseas property developer that always delivers on our promises, we have quickly established ourselves in the market place and reached some remarkable milestones
Milestones such as selling out our first Cape Verde development, Tortuga Beach Resort & Spa, in record time and being the first and only developer on Cape Verde to date that has signed management agreements with a world renowned resort operator.
Our Timeline
Late 2006 - Announced development of Dunas Beach Resort in Cape Verde
Feb 2007 - Announced development of Tortuga Beach Resort & Spa in Cape Verde
Jun 2007 - The Resort Group PLC incorporated as new Brand for all future operations
Nov 2007 - Construction License issued for Tortuga Beach Resort & Spa
Dec 2007 - Construction License issued for Dunas Beach Resort
Net Sales at end of 2007 ... Tortuga & Dunas Combined 370
Mar 2008 - Title to land taken on Dunas Beach Resort
May 2008 - Title to land taken on Tortuga Beach Resort & Spa
Dec 2008 - Construction contract agreed on Tortuga with Grupo San Jose (& JV partner Sogei)
Dec 2008 - Net Sales at end of 2008 ... Tortuga & Dunas Combined 717
Jan 2009 - Tortuga Beach Resort & Spa sold out
Jan 2009 - Tortuga ground breaking ceremony (presided over by the Prime Minister). Construction commences
Sept 2009 - Promissory Contract signed to purchase third plot of land (C4) on the Island of Sal. Located in-between Tortuga and Dunas. Project to be called Llana Beach Hotel
Nov 2009 - Management Agreements signed with Sol Melia for them to operate Tortuga and Dunas Resorts under their luxury 5-Star MELIA brand
Nov 2009 - Dunas ground breaking ceremony takes place
Dec 2009 - Net Sales at end of 2009 ... Tortuga & Dunas Combined 947
Feb 2010 - Net Sales milestone of 1000 achieved (Tortuga & Dunas combined)
Mar 2010 - Completions commence on Tortuga Beach Resort
Apr 2010 - Thompson family are the first clients to stay in their villa on Tortuga Beach Resort
June 2010 - Press Trip to our developments in Cape Verde, an excellent response leads to great press coverage in many titles including A Place in the Sun and the Sunday Express Newspaper
Sept 2010 - Full construction programme commences after completing the initial ground works on Dunas Beach Resort
Nov 2010 - Holidays bookings start to come through on Tortuga Beach Resort well in advance of the resort opening in May 2011
Feb 2011 - Tortuga Opening Date is confirmed for May 10th 2011, with an opening party scheduled for 7th & 8th May 2011
May 2011 - Tortuga Beach Opens and first guests arrive
July 2011 - Construction on Dunas Beach Resort & Spa continues at a rapid pace with the first phase front line villas now completed
August 2011 - Dunas Beach Resort & Spa over 95% sold our and an announcement expected soon on the launch of our third Resort
September 2011 - Llana Beach Hotel is officially launched on to the market. Dunas Beach now 100% SOLD OUT!
October 2011 - Llana Beach Hotel has record breaking sales in the first few weeks - over 100 properties sold already since its launch!
